Since the early 2000s, Friends of the Congo has been bringing the Breaking The Silence Speakers Tour to cities throughout the United States, Canada and select countries around the world and organizing delegations to foster relationships and deeper understanding directly with our partners in Congo. The speakers tour also inspires participation in Congo Week which is a series of activities that commemorates the millions of lives lost in the Congo conflict while celebrating the enormous human and natural potential that exists in the country.
